Global executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles has partnered with youth charity City Year UK for its fourth annual Career Builder Course.
Including leaders from Santander, McKinsey, AstraZeneca, Crossrail and Mastercard, the faculty aims to inspire future leaders over the two day course.
Senior executives will mentor more than 80 young people from diverse backgrounds across the country to “help unlock the talents and aspirations of young people from all walks of life,” says Heidrick & Struggles’ London co-leader, Andy MacLeod, adding “anything is possible when you put your mind to it”.
Following on from the course, these 18 to 25 year olds will volunteer full-time for a year, continuing to address educational inequality and develop leadership skills.
Sophie Livingstone, chief executive of City Year UK calls the course “invaluable,” hoping that the young volunteers will “be inspired to set their sights high”.
