What have been the biggest challenges in the corporate sales industry you have faced over the past 12 months?
Moving away from face-to-face, in-person interactions has been a game-changer in the sales industry. I have had to adapt techniques and strategy to build credibility and trust in a virtual environment.
And what have been the biggest opportunities?
Since the pandemic, more companies have introduced flexible working and are reviewing their benefits for working parents to encourage a supportive community and to show their workforce that they really care about their work/life balance.
What is the biggest priority for employers in 2022/2023?
Recruitment & retention. Companies must look at how they can support their employees better and offer a flexible and desirable solution that will ensure they can effectively balance family and work life, which will help to retain loyal employees and attract new people.
What are the main trends you are expecting to see in the employee benefits market in 2022/2023?
Smart employers know that organisations perform better when staff are healthy, supported, motivated, and focused. I see more employers introducing more family-friendly benefits with an increasing emphasis on diversity and inclusion and ongoing learning.
What’s the most exciting thing about your job?
Knowing that through our corporate partnerships I will be helping so many working parents, by providing high-quality childcare, saving them time, and helping them financially.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.
Tell us one interesting fact about yourself?
I can play the trumpet!
What’s your biggest achievement to date?
During lockdown I trained and completed my first half marathon finishing in the top 30 & raising lots of money for Alzheimer’s Society.
