The 13th edition of the WorkPocket HR handbook, developed by global recruitment company, Randstad, has been released in digital format for the first time – enabling all industry professionals to access a full range of comprehensive resources at a ‘click of a button’.
Available via the virtual ‘WordPocket World’ – which aims to provide a more mobile and memorable method of delivering HR information – the platform moves between five floors showcasing ‘true-to-life’ scenarios such as animations about maternity leave, equal pay and alcohol abuse; in addition to other crucial HR issues.
Randstad’s UK CEO, Mark Bull, said in a statement: “In the past, WorkPocket has proved to be a popular resource for time-strapped smaller business owners and HR professionals – and in taking the step to digitise the handbook for the 13th edition, we’re hoping to make this vital information even more accessible.”
He continued: “Creating a fun and interactive platform where people can visualise countless scenarios and effortlessly search for information on the area they’re interested in, will add value for all kinds of user and ensure HR best practice at every level.”
Aimed at the industry as a whole, WorkPocket also covers a range of topics from drafting employment ‘offer letters’ and on-boarding new starters, to advising on the latest legislation and understanding employment rights.
