    After over a decade of success with our HR Summits; first the London HR Summit and then making our debut in the North with the Manchester HR Summit in 2013; we decided to expand into the Scottish market this 2016. Our first ever Scotland HR Summit will test its waters in the capital city, Edinburgh, in the outstanding Hilton Grosvenor Hotel on the 19th April 2016. Bringing the industry’s key influencers together for a set of match made face-to-face meetings, interactive seminars and endless networking opportunities; the Scotland HR Summit, like its counterparts, will be established as a haven for HR professionals to build upon their network and expertise in the dynamic industry.

    Our concept of events significantly differs to other events within the industry. Our HR Summits are purposely smaller than other events in the industry; focusing on quality over quantity. Differing to trade shows and exhibitions; delegates and suppliers are carefully selected to match one another’s business requirements, thereby exclusively limiting attendance to senior HR professionals and the most innovative product and service providers in the industry. Using a unique matchmaking process, the Scotland HR Summit team strives for compatibility between attending delegates and suppliers – ensuring both parties leave the event with a handful of useful contacts.

    Stuart Leatherby will be joining us to discuss the challenges remote locations pose to employers; looking at the role international health insurers can play in supporting organisations with overseas and offshore teams. Stuart will touch on employee wellness, product design, routine medical and emergency support and finally regulation; providing a practical solution to a prominent problem for many HR departments.

    Focusing on the changes triggered by emerging economies, customer demands, digital technology and the shift in employee expectations; David Miller, will be sharing his expertise in an interactive group session. The change management expert will share his knowledge on delivering business strategies within a disruptive world; more specifically how HR departments can adapt to these new demands to best support organisations. Both David and Stuart will shed their wisdom in sharp 45-minute long seminars and workshops to keep delegates engaged and well-informed.
