Edenred has been named the ‘sole and exclusive’ provider of reward and benefits solutions to UK government employees via the Employee Services framework, established by Crown Commercial Services (CCS) and is the body which manages procurement on behalf of central government.
The provider claims that the appointment will allow ‘consistency’ in the benefits and reward proposition available to the 418,000 central government staff – delivering commercial savings as well as enhancing employee engagement.
Available through a ‘bespoke’ online platform, employees can expect to receive full access to a ‘portal’ consisting: voluntary benefits and discounts; a cycle to work scheme; childcare vouchers; reward and recognition; payroll giving; as well as a host of key resources and information. There is also an option for departments and agencies to incorporate additional Edenred benefits and solutions within their employee value proposition.
