Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) is the UK’s largest campus-based business and management school, and one of the select number of business schools to be triple accredited by AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS. We deliver original thinking and teaching, informed by – and informing – the contemporary commercial environment.
A recent survey of 500 employees, in middle and upper management roles, revealed that 80% of managers currently feel that they face a barrier to their career progression at their current place of work, and 21.2% felt there was a lack of time to upskills outside of work hours.
When it came to facilitating further progression, the survey found that more than half of respondents would like their employer to provide additional support by fully funding professional development courses or provide the time for employees to attend them.
To meet this growing demand, AMBS has recently broadened its portfolio of short business courses to equip future leaders with the real-life skills they need to lead in an ever-changing business landscape.
Each course takes place at AMBS’s Executive Education centre over four days and aims to provide senior business leaders with the tools, frameworks, and strategies to lead businesses successfully.
Devised by industry-leading academics, the courses cover topics such as data and artificial intelligence, leadership psychology, international business strategy and environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG).
At AMBS, professional development courses are about more than just educating managers and leaders; they’re about partnerships and collaboration, understanding and impact. AMBS transform the latest industry insights, world-beating research and visionary thinking into practical skill building, networking, and supercharged opportunity.
