Claire Sharman has over 25 years of experience in the employee benefits sector, working across a variety of roles including in underwriting, productdevelopment, sales, consultancy, growth and strategic benefit planning. With a comprehensive understanding of the industry Claire works closely withcompanies to foster an engaged workforce by supporting their people risk strategies, optimising their employee benefits whilst maximising the effectivenessof employer spend.

Laura Weaving is the Founder and CEO of Newcastle-based company Duo Global Consulting. She is a behavioural and management expert.
Through their platform – Perform – Duo work with scaling businesses to support their managers in better understanding the behaviour of their team through behavioural insight, on demand coaching and subscription based learning.
Before setting up Duo & Perform, Laura established and managed several other high growth international businesses, in addition to holding several non-exec roles, she has real experience in navigating the ever-changing complexities of diverse organisational landscapes.
Dr Amy Pressland will share the key results from the Benenden Health 2024 Gender Health Gap report. This presentation will provide examples of best practice in the world of work (and beyond) and suggestions for employers to support female employees.

Dr Amy Pressland develops talent for York-based not-for-profit private healthcare provider, Benenden Health. An executive coach with experience in higher education, logistics and rail, and healthcare, Amy is passionate about DE&I in the workplace to support all employees and enable their growth. Starting her career in academia, Amy has published a book, chapters, and articles on the barriers to gender equality as well as leading regional committees and hosting international conferences. In her spare time, Amy loves to be active and pursue physical challenges from triathlons to long-distance bike packing.
