A freedom for collaboration, if the HR industry is open enough they can form alliances and partnerships around the world and remain flexible in a global market place. The capacity of software to be able to connect and communicate is instant.

What is the biggest priority for the Human Resources industry in 2019?

Retaining great people, keeping people inspired and motivated and growing their internal world when the external world is so attractive. Give people a compelling vision for the future.

Which person in, or associated with, the Human Resources industry would you most like to meet?

The Prime Minister

What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learnt about the Human Resources sector?

The integration, or the lack of communications between HR and Departmental heads

You go to the bar at the London/Manchester HR Summit – what’s your tipple of choice?

1 sparkling mineral water and 8 pints of vodka!

What’s the most exciting thing about your job?

Delivery, being with people, seeing people grow, seeing the curiosity of the audience

And what’s the most challenging?

I work globally and sometimes the travelling becomes lonely
